So even if you setup your own atproto and moderation service and just use it through bluesky? Isn't that an option too?
I'm just confused because I feel like it's harder to entirely make your own app, versus just doing what was intended and swapping your servers. Unless I'm missing something.

I guess my concern was that this would be entirely separate from bluesky and inaccessible otherwise.
Someone else mentioned data privacy laws and the US, given the current admin, which I understand. But beyond that? How do you ensure no bad actors harm your PDS?
