Yesterday I had a very intense, very public autistic meltdown, BUT today I found out the mall I work adjacent to has ✨Korean corn dogs✨ so yeah. The little things, I guess.

I started a new job recently and it’s such a breath of fresh air to get out of that kind of toxic environment a bad job makes. Honestly a bad enough job is like a bad relationship and you have to unlearn trauma responses a lot of the time. It’s kinda wild

I have great admiration for your ability to live a normal, independent life. I worked 12 years for an agency providing support for autistic individuals, so I recognize the significance of your accomplishment. Thanks for sharing so much of your life with us here. Keep doing what you are doing.

I appreciate the sentiment, love. ❤️ I often feel as tho I’m two kids in a trenchcoat pretending to be a well adjusted adult, but I’m blessed to be in a situation where my needs as a disabled individual are met and I’m able to function mostly independently.
