What convinced me I'd need to start buying DVD's eventually was hearing that the DVD version of Ken Burns's "Jazz" mini-series included "pop-up" style annotations of what music was playing on the soundtrack at a given time. What sealed the deal was the Beastie Boys Video Anthology on Criterion...1/2

Would literally need access to my Blockbuster card history to know just how many, and that doesn't include the movies I saw at friend's houses.

I remember DVD commentaries that actually told fun and interesting stories behind how they made the film/show. Not the vapid crap they make nowadays where they just explain the plot again to you as if you were five years old
