Heroku is open-sourcing and replatforming to Kube.
Does anyone care? Except if they work at Heroku/Salesforce?
If you’re already on Kube you don’t need it, and if you don’t know what that tech is, you want Heroku to “just work” and couldn’t care less how it works?

(Not meant in a sarcasic way; genuninely curious why?)
(I’m also not in devrel so forgive me if this isn’t very insightful 😂)
And we're lacking a good open source Heroku-like PaaS on top of kube! Epinio is discontinued, OpenShift is a behemoth. I see a gap in the market, this could be their moment to regain mindshare.
I've been reading Paul Graham and in 1995, they were able to get on a customer call and deploy a fix on the call!
We need to get back to that speed. $ ssh vps && vim index.js and go.
