Yeah I am fully expecting them to try to rescue Bitcoin or even $TRUMP by investing Treasury dollars into it to prop it up.

So that's why it's doubly surprising that's it's crashing so hard.

Coffeezilla had a thing about it saying that the normalization/onboarding of normies and retail investors that they were so excited about actually hurt them because they wouldn't take well to it being basically one big grift. Seems like that might be the case.
