It's very interesting to see how Netflix and Apple handle shows different. Netflix cancels everything you like, two seasons in. Apple TV has confirmed 4 seasons of Silo, finishing the story. So I'm confident watching because I know I'll get an ending.

They have the money but they stingy af
But great to hear they will run it to its conclusion, I presume they are including the backstory of the Silos too in S3 to lead to S4.
I can think of at least a couple where they pulled the plug after one. I don't bother with Netflix series now until they've been completed.
I suspect those more obscure clients are just 3rd party developed and nothing to do with apple.
But i had to build a windows PC under my TV just to stream Apple TV.

The cross-platform TV app codebase is probably built with a UI designed for TVs only, which would make it borderline unusable on Android phones and ok but not optimal on Android tablets.
Meanwhile Netflix's entire strategy is throw everything at the wall, hope something sticks & gets a billion views overnight, and drop the rest.
