Stop this. You don’t “give politicians time” and then decide after the fact if they’re good at their jobs. They aren’t children. We as the public hold them to account. They work for us. And politicians are never to be trusted, it’s why they need to be under constant scrutiny

However, we should not be micromanaging them and overreacting, other than any corruption or backdoor deals.

1. So many citizens act though like they don't lie, that lying isn't at the heart of what they do.
2. "we've all lied" - yes and we've been punished for it. Politicians are almost never punished (and don't say being voted out is a punishment, it's not.)
