I get this: but ask yourself, where can I affect the most change? NDP backbencher in third party status? Or using a big platform for public education and advocacy? There are a lot of versions of impact, and I don’t think I’d be more impactful doing anything else at present.

I will keep wishing, whether it is probable or not. But I will push a bit. It is not that running for office is fun. It is your pride of good impact and a trail for others to follow or to contribute to.
