I always considered expecting teachers to sign a book for my kids every year to be putting an unfair burden on them, so I never did. It's good to hear that I wasn't totally off base about that.

I never had the courage to ask for teachers’ autographs in my yearbook. The fact that students are asking for them now says a lot about both of them.

Indigo/Chapters is fading into the sunset, but it always used to amuse me that they would stock copies of that book at this time of year—the cheap aunt gift.

Love that book. Still refer to it when my adult children are struggling. One son is currently stuck in the waiting place.
