I know I just giddily hired two part-time staff members to do like, 15 hours of work a month and I also fully appreciate that a lot of folks have lost jobs and feel uncertain about the economy but please don't cold call me asking for a job.

Probably a less interesting post, but much better for humanity.
I added the thread because I do actually want those people to succeed with a more attuned strategy.
-If you're close enough to work here, you're close enough to come in and say 'hi' in person
-Demonstrate you know something about the business
-Make a pitch for what you're offering not for what you want
Contrast with:
