Husband has never read To Kill a Mockingbird and has trouble focusing to read, but can listen easily - I’m reading a chapter out loud each day for us and it’s such a delight to revisit. The first chapter has a line about sweaty ladies in talcum being like tea cakes; what a glorious use of language.
