I like Burly in LF lineup best. They can have a defensive replacement come in late innings. Real question is do you send Walker down to play more or sit him on the bench & learn from watching?

Great question. They've sent him down twice before so what would a third time do to him? He obviously has to change his approach though. Then the question is who would be called up. Saggese is an option but they said he needs everyday time too. So then it may be someone like Siani again

Biggest motivator for me was sitting the bench & not playing. Drove me crazy, maybe it would also be a motivator for Walker idk. Wouldn’t mind Siani’s speed off the bench & possible late inning defensive replacement for Burly, as long as VSll stays in the lineup.

That totally makes sense! But it's gotta be difficult to rework a swing and then be expected to produce when you get your chance again at the highest level. Memphis provides a little low stress opportunity. I'd like to see Koperniak too but he's another lefty. Just want more offensive options!

Definitely agree the more offensive the better!! I feel like somebody (Contreras, possibly) has to take Walker under their (is) wing, with lots of early BP under the stadium with Jay, & Brown, build some callus’ up swinging! With video sessions after the game. IF his hearts in it that is.

I’m down for some more Koperniak as well, send Gordan down to Memphis to free up a spot, I’ll take a chance at being a lefty heavy lineup, majority of pitchers, mainly starters are righties anyways.
