If you couldn’t get them in the Summer, the chances of getting them now are even less, why would a top fwd come to us now, when it’s pretty clear we won’t win anything..& “they” can assess their options in the summer when they will have a bigger pool of clubs, unless you go with a lower profile plyr

But then the other point of the argument is that you're ignoring an issue for another 5 months of the season? We're still in all four completions. We have to push and can't just leave the problem till the summer.

What’s another 5 months, we are likely out tonight, we won’t win the league, realistically won’t win the CL and that leaves the FA Cup. We have more than just a striker issue imo, wingers, 2 midflds short a GK short.. I don’t believe all these will get addressed in the summer either, let alone now

We have enough depth in midfield and goalkeeper and that's not necessarily been our problem. Our problem has been scoring goals.

There's 7 games this season in the PL we've failed to score more than once. 5 have led to a draw.

We're still in the PL - Liverpool have a lot of tough away fixtures.

So what goal scoring midfielders do we have? We may numbers in depth.. but they are all similar and don’t offer much creativity/ goals, retaining possession yes. Our lack of goals is also down to Artetas tactics/mentalilty.. as well as a clinical forward.. he chose not to buy one.

You do realise signing players and sanctioning transfers isn't Arteta's remit? It was on the sporting director and the board to pursue with Arteta's targets.

I didn't say he does but if he provides the list of players he wants to the board and Edu and they failed to bring a player in for him - how is that his fault?

Going by tonight's game, there was nothing wrong with the coaching - we just couldn't finish.

The coaching that shits itself against a low block. The coaching that is so slow we give our one fast player no chance to attack fast to mix it up. The coaching that has spent nothing on attacking players. That coach?
