Absolutely! Whatever fortune they had they were able to capitalize on it due to the quality of their squad. Especially in attack. I think Arsenal do deserve second but this could’ve been our season if we focused on improving weaknesses from prior seasons. Imo that was rotation in attack positions
Salah has played like a title winner, sure. The rest is basically just a decent supporting cast. VVD should've been banned for a minimum of 7 games for violent conduct & the 10 men would likely have dropped points (including against us) & we've been screwed with multiple Arsenal-only red cards.
Indeed. The rub of the green has certainly gone their way with the fixture list at the start, lack of key injuries to contend with. And of course Haaland isn’t fit to play today… sometimes it really is just your year (though it seems it’s never ours 😂)
