At a dinner someone shared a book on the geometry of quilting patterns. I immediately had an idea. Step 1: Code one of the patterns (here I chose a box quilt pattern, creating image on the left). Step 2: Adapted the coloring of the pattern to be a mosaic (creating image on right). The idea worked!
