It just makes sense. The Brexity folk as they voted to leave shouldn't really go to EU countries. But my bet is their hypocritical attitude will mean they do. So maybe they can still Q and get stamps in passports.

Mmm. My wife and I used e-gates when we flew into Milan in March. When we attempted to have our passports stamped we were waved through. Also, are we not going to be paying for an e-document on our passports to avoid the needs for a stamp when entering the Schengen area?

I travelled from Rome airport recently. Used a scanner for the passport and then just got a stamp as we went through. It’s all possible.

I see what you’re saying, but it was only Frost being useless that stopped us having this benefit in the first place. He agreed to let EU citizens use our E gates but wouldn’t agree to us using theirs. I think this is a great development.
