I use cotton capri pants and tank tops as my sleepwear. I’ve had all the same complaints . Best part I can wake up at 5am, roll out of bed and do my Supernatural exercise on my quest 3. Removing all the minor blocks plus how fun Supernatural is has made a huge difference for me (I’ve lost 85 lbs)

Sized up leggings (tight enough that they don't move when I kickbox in my sleep, loose enough to not annoy me) and a shelf bra tank. I like the Duluth brand, bc they make them with regular tank straps instead of just spaghetti straps, and the fronts are cut high enough that nothing...flops at night.

For the same reasons, I wear the stretchy soft cotton workout tights/leggings that are cropped below the knee. Hanes usually has them.

Boxer briefs and a slightly oversized tee shirt.
Cool enough under blankets for those hot flashes but covers enough in case you have to jump out of bed.

I've switched over to silk for sleeping - pillowcase, head wrap, nightgown. Because it's slippery, it's a.) much better for skin/hair (case/wrap) and b.) slides around my body so it gets twisted less (nightgown).
