Most groups will have a collection of photos and videos they share with the media through Dropbox or Google Drive. But the press kits can look something like this; chaotically organised, and not much useful information.

If I want to reuse photos, they need to be clearly named to show what they depict, when they were taken (because date/time data can get stripped away), and who took them. A short code is also helpful for keeping track of related pics.

Photo names can also specify who to credit (photographer might not = copyright owner) and what Creative Commons licence they’re released under. CC licences are great; copyrighted photos can’t otherwise be legally shared and reused without getting the © owner permission each time.

This is great Mike. Also encourage them to upload images as large as possible... 'web size' is no good (signed, photo research)
