The entire point of judges is to enforce laws that passed the entire legal progress. So if anyone in power tries to break them, they get stopped as they were meant to in the first place.

By removing a judges' authority or the judges themselves, means you don't believe in a checks and balance system anymore. At that point why even have judges?
Judges are chosen by the very people who we elect. If elected officials remove people they approved, then what are we saying about our own elected officials?
If elected officials aren't required to follow enforced laws, then why even have elected officials? At this point, I think the point is you need someone in places to check the next line of power. Each with its own set of rules on how it enforces.
