Spent a good portion of the weekend trying to figure out exactly how many books I'll be able to cart out to Pulpfest 2025 (Aug. 7-10!).
It's my first convention table and, uh, we've put out 9 physical books since 2022, and I'm estimating my Impala already hates me.
Should be interesting logistics!

I appreciate the offer for questions. I'm definitely out of my comfort zone by a fair bit, but I couldn't pass this up without giving it a shot. It's the only convention I could think of that fit my zeitgeist.
Do you know - is it always in PA, or does it move around?
It seems like a real fun convention, and really the only one that kinda fits my style of reading/writing on this coast. Not counting some of the comic cons.
If you decide to go, let me know and we'll have to hang for a bit!
I think I had looked into this last year (or a convention like it), but it wasn’t feasible then.
And next year I’ll have my pulpy book getting released right around then - maybe I can do a panel or get the publisher to pay for something.
This is one of the larger pulp conventions and though it's directed toward the 1920s-1940s scene, I figure I fit enough on the fringe to count. Plus, they were super nice!
And I somehow did not realize you had a pulp novel coming out next year! Congrats! Anything you can tease me with?
It builds from the world of a Robert E. Howard boxing character.
Set in 1957, it follows Steve Costigan Jr., a sailor-boxer sailing through South/Central American ports, getting into fights at each stop.

1957...boxer...exotic locales...fights...yeah, I'm sold on that already.
I'm gonna look forward to that release!
