What’s even the point in Var? What does it actually offer? Does it spend 10 minutes trying to disallow a goal-yes. Does it intervene when the referee makes a blatantly obvious error-of course not
We go to work and spend our hard earned money to be fans, to watch a game that’s fair that we love.
And we are given this crock of shit to take care of the fairness of the game. There’s becoming no point as it’s not a competition for us.
I just cant get over the fact that in the reverse fixture Havertz was choked and had a finger up his arse and both of those things didn’t amount to a red but somehow the Lewis-Skelly challenge did
It’s genuinely unbelievable. No one has been fucked as hard as we have this year and it’s not close. It’s either corruption, overt or covert bias. It can’t be explained by ineptitude at this point with how regularly it happens.
Something additionally egregious is the fact that Oliver looks at the "injured" player multiple times before his decision and it is clearly a big factor in making him give a red. In a sport where players are always actively trying to influence refs with their reactions, that is disastrous.
