Forests and all the algae in the world are insuffient. If it were true, then CO2 levels wouldn't be going up. You can see the amount plants absorb in the data. That little bit of decrease each summer. That's it.
I'm sorry, was it not clear that we need to drastically reduce our greenhouse gas production as well? Because, yeah. My main worry would be doing that in a way that doesn't further impoverish the developing world.
