Last week, a busy train arrived at Euston - packed at the ticket gates - the nearest wide exit was staffed by three people but when a wheelchair user asked to go out that way they were told the gate the other side was open - why couldn’t they just open that rather than increase her battle to exit ??

The gate line staff there exude hostility. Got lots of luggage and a dog? No, we won't open the gate for you. You have to use the barcode on your eticket.
They are without exception rude and hostile and seem to presume that everyone is a fare dodger
