Tacos seem in the firing line. Freedom food half wraps and musk buys Taco Bell? It’ll be dumb but I’m always like I didn’t think it’d be that dumb so let’s see what the boys whip up in the lab
When I bring it up in class, there's a part of the students that are not sure what I am talking about. 9/11, Iraq I, Iraq II, Afghanistan - so many formative experiences that now mostly show I am old
The problem is that the US never really talks about the mistakes/crimes that were made/committed.
They don’t teach about slavery like Germany does about Nazis.
McCarty, Vietnam - there never happened a nationwide reflection on it.
And W.Bush should be a prisoner, not a painter.
Iran supplies weapons to terrorists throughout the world, has enriched uranium far past what is required for peaceful means, and had a “rubicon” meeting scheduled between their nuclear scientists and missile engineers. Are you okay with them having a bomb and us not doing anything about it?
We had a treaty about this a decade ago. But Trump broke it off because he hated Obama. Then he was negotiating to try to put Humpty back together again, when Israel launched their attacks.
The message we been sending Iran is that they will only get international respect when they have the bomb.
I wonder why they haven’t allied themselves with the US over the years. Someone should really look into that.
The fact of the matter is that we’ve been down this road before, and unleashing fire and fury is not the path to regional security but to destabilisation.
It's all just propaganda, they are nowhere near getting a bomb, and diplomacy was preventing them from making one. This whole situation is an Israeli and US manufacture.
What are the magic words to say to get someone to stop trying to kill you? The fact is they’ve enriched uranium well past what is necessary for peaceful energy production.
You don't unilaterally break a treaty that was preventing them enriching uranium, for a start. And they didn't break they treaty, we did, freeing them from their obligations
You know what you don’t do? Start enriching uranium past the levels needed for peaceful use. This is on the mulahs. They decided to flaunt international law. They do it bc many in the West will blame Israel, or others like ur doing, or simply don’t have the stomach to stand up for the rule of law.
And you dont start bombing that country, killing its chief negotiator, when it looks like that country is likely to agree a similar treaty. It's almist like Israel has ulterior motives, but they're the good guys, so that can't be true.
Also nice for the folks in the global south who said they preferred Trump for his refreshing lack of hypocritical moralism. He’s really coming through for them.
Kind of missing a 'Blair in a jumper, with hands in pockets, casually discussing dropping a shitload of high explosive on Iraqis, with the previously dumbest American President in history' moment.
And Big Media and Congress was nowhere to be found then, too. Except now, there are no breathless pressers in the Rose Garden. No Rose Garden. No President. No WH. We'll have to rebuild everything from the ground up from the cosplaying weirdos.
Governments lying to their own people about the “need” to wage foreign wars has become so routine in some places that at some point there may be a “boy who cried wolf” problem. But we are not at that point yet.
Palestinians are already maximally radicalized. They can't be radicalized any further. Israel made a mistake in 2005 when it disengaged from Gaza Strip. Now it is evident that if you let Palestinians be Palestinians you get Hamasjugend and Palestinian Daesh. Hamas regime must go for wars to stop.
1. Netanyahu has been in favor of funding Hamas because he wants to divide Palestinians. Which is pretty monstrous, considering how superlatively evil you are telling me Hamas is. The guy funding that evil must be even more evil.
2. I don’t think what you are saying about maximal radicalization can be correct. Surely the newly orphaned children are more anti-Israel than they were before? Or perhaps someone who saw hospitals bombed might be more willing to take up arms against Israel?
3. But most troubling, by saying things like “if you let Palestinians be Palestinians you get a [Hitler youth],” you are advocating a genocidal line of reasoning.
If, as you suggest, there is something inherently evil in Palestinian people, then what solution can there be? Camps in the Negev?
This is racist way of thinking. Palestinians have agency. Nobody is preventing Hamas and Fatah to make peace. But they don't. Not everything is the fault of the Jews. And btw Palestinian surveys clearly show that Hamas would be elected instantly if elections were held and that majority is pro-war.
US citizens have agency, but one terrorist attack and we invaded two countries, bombing civilians for 20 years, and in the end, leaving both countries overrun by terrorists.
Two good runs of propaganda and we elected a dangerous pro-Russia narcissist.
I don't know if you've heard it - but Israel started the war. Not Iran. Iran wasn't preparing for the invasion of Israel either, so there was absolutely no reason to attack now.
Palestine's Gaza government- genocidal Hamas started this war with the approval of the Iranian theocracy on the October 7th. Israel reacted to this genocide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ib3lBe7dEl0
It's so ironic, that Israelis think that killing 800 civilians is a genocide, but killing 70000+ Palestinians, total destruction of their infrastructure, full blockade of Gaza for food and medicine, and taking hostage dozens of thousands of Palestinians is considered an acceptable self defense.
Hamas fake data. If IDF didn't stop genocidal Palestinians, there would be genocide on October 8th, 9th etc. Only proven starvation was this, otherwise they had enough food brought in before. If there were imbalances, they were due to Hamas regime hoarding supplies. https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=gut1jyzwFV8
So can I get true information or not? How many palestinians were killed by Israel? How many hospitals are working in Gaza? How much food and medicaments were delivered? I don't want to rely on Hamas propaganda, share the real numbers.

The perceived justness of the cause may somehow be related to the assumption of an easy win.
I'm told that 2003 is now history.
Fuck.
Everything since the 80s is the present, & weirdly, the 70s doesn’t exist at all

Bit gutted about that. Get a move on, Starmer.

TLDR I don’t care about your Gaza surveys.
Or maybe he surprises us all with a caesium rod, but the point is: Anytime now.
