Ah. Progressives. My clan is Traditionalist...at least in this regard. We are small, so sires come and go. No pun intended. It keeps the line fresh, and we exchange some families with neighboring clans every other generation or so.

Progressive in only that sense. Everything else was exceptionally traditional, the Covenant beliefs being hammered in from a young age and rather intensive training to ensure we were kept battle ready. Hunting trips were a favourite of mine.
Ours is a strange lot. Close enough and small enough to serve as a vassal state to Vadam (and the positives outweigh the negatives), but are far enough way, and remote enough, to largely rule ourselves.
It sounds like a relatively ideal arrangement, it gives you strong allies and a decent bloodline to mingle with. The trade off being the enemies they invite.
Mine live in the desert and close to the majority of the less progressive clans. But building in the canyons was fruitful.
Ours is built upon the desert plains north of Kolaar Mountain; a valley surrounded by bluffs. Erza told me it was one of our world's smaller seas, very long ago. Between the dunes and crags, there are salt flats and oases.
As for game, Helioskrill are few. Skell'n and Zij'tokka are plentiful -
