letβs learn about the satanic temple since the word satan is so scary π± (hint atheists donβt believe in gods so we certainly donβt believe in their enemies)

At least we see Putin admitting whatever dumb ass version of Christianity he is pushing can't hold up to criticism. I just feel so bad for the Russian people. Can you imagine if Navalny had won/you had the U.S./Russia with 2 democratic governments working together with no sanctions?
They need a new name like the fluffy kitten group lol. Just kidding Satan doesn't bother me I'm not religious. I like your post very much satanic temple is the religion I can most get down with but the nearest congregation to me is about 2 hours away.
While that's true to an extent, it's a little reductive. TST is an actual religion, with a community and message of standing up to oppression, pursuing knowledge over superstition, and gaining equal representation for all faiths. The lack of prayers and deities doesn't make us any less a "religion"
Hell yes! Within the Sober Faction, for recovering addicts, we have a dedicated neurodiverse meeting. But the regular meetings are fully supportive of people with neurodiversity.
Absolutely! Our first tenet is "One should strive to act with compassion and empathy toward all creatures in accordance with reason." There are 7 tenets that we follow and adhere to, I highly recommend checking them out!
I can certainly see how you would come to that understanding as a Minister of Satan. The religious fanatics must go utterly rabid in your presence π€ππ€.
Honestly, when you read their tenets, you realize they are more Christian-like than any buffoon on social media or otherwise that claims they are a Christian.
Im surprised by how many people (on both sides) take TST seriously and don't realise that it's just a political troll group. It started as a mockumentary, is completely satirical and their 'tenets' were taken from Unitarian Universalists to troll Christians by having better 'commandments'
But it shows the foundations on which it was built: that it was a joke that some then fell for. They're still using satire to troll Christian Nationalists for political aims, and its leaders (or at least one of them) have said that the politics are what's important, not religious belief
Not terrified at all, Thomas Paine had many of these ideas over 200 years ago and wrote about them in the Age of Reason. Paine was and is very underrated. My problem with joining is that I'm always wary of organizations who would have me as a member.

The scariness of Satan is important. It's a great filter to bounce people off who won't engage in good faith.
My reply is always, βl donβt believe in either, so I donβt care.β
Neither Satan or Prometheus.
