That does not mean the show made money. If Disney is like any company I’ve ever worked for, the ROI is measured on a product to product basis. If a product/service loses the company money, it gets discontinued. As is what happened with the Acolyte.
I admire your enthusiasm about this. I loved the show and would love to see it get renewed, but I would be shocked if they brought it back. The Acolyte had an astronomical cost, barely cracked the top 10, and that’s not even to mention the reviews. We liked the show, but are not in the majority.
You’re welcome. From what I just Googled, Andor was still cheaper per episode and had higher viewership. And while I hope they bring it back, I personally felt Acolyte suffered the same agonizing pacing as Obi Wan, another “this should have been a movie.” But that’s just my view. 🤷

On cost, Andor cost more
On viewership, it came back up for the finale, not to premiere levels but it did re-enter the top 10, and gains new passionate fans everyday
A major hurdle was the hate campaign, which was so toxic on Twitter that fans would close their replies or stop talking about it at all.
Disney won't stand up to them like Amazon did for Rings of Power, but new fans watch everyday
If they want to tell us how many subscribers were gained/lost during the broadcast then we can pinpoint it more accurately
However I assume the show contributed positively, as it was still their featured show in November
