if I get my us passport with the wrong gender in it it will be ok. once I leave I wont be back. I will send them their citizenship papers and passport back.My father lived thru the persecution of the Jews from 1933 until he left Germany in 1939. I wont stay here to live a life that he endured.

Nonbinary means that one has a gender identity that is outside the binary. Non-conforming means you do stuff differently. As for how many identities should be on passports, I'd advocate 0. F/M/X markers don't really serve a useful purpose, especially when they don't conform to somebody's expression.

Even granting the premise that it's necessary it doesn't make sense when you take into acount the actual reality that not everyone looks like their birth gender. It makes more sense under that argument to let self identification to avoid more scenarios that might lead to LEOs misidentifying folks
