not even the oldest branch of Christianity tbh...that would be the Jerusalem Orthodox Church then there is the Egyptian and only after that do you get Catholicism
I’m confused. Jewish people have never believed that that Jesus was the Messiah. Those Jews that followed Christ’s teachings were baptized and were then Christians.
Catholics were not first. The council of Nicea (I probably spelled that wrong) happened in... 400 and something? They established the books of the Catholic bible and truly formalized the faith. There were plenty of Christians before this but always small cells.
Excuse me? It is both a religion and an ethnic identity you can identify as Jewish and not follow Judaism and you can convert to Judaism and not be ethnically Jewish. I actually know someone who is ethnically Jewish but follows Christian religion.
John the Baptist began baptizing people in the area of the Jordan River during the early first century AD, sometime before the baptism of Jesus. He preached and baptized people, emphasizing repentance and a new beginning, and he denied being the Messiah.

Luke 2:41
41 Every year Jesus’ parents went to Jerusalem for the Festival of the Passover.
We don’t take kindly to Jews for Jesus telling us we are all going to Hell
And that real Judaism is Christianity
Then yes, become a Jews for Jesus and make it your life mission to get Jewish people to convert to Christianity
