It is good to see the move on Bluesky because, X was starting to be boring. Nice to e-meet so many new followers here. Here is a π§Ά that is introduces most of my research interests. It is about #metaresearch #openscience and #medicine.

My initial background is clinical medicine (psychiatry and therapeutics) and I have developed competences in βmeta-researchβ through research fellowships at METRICS (Stanford University). I am now leading a team of pharmacology and therapeutics within IRSET an @insermgrandouest.bsky.social lab.
I try to develop and communicate a bird's-eye view on therapeutic evaluation and Evidence-Based Medicine. Evidence-based medicine (EBM) is an approach to medical practice that is intended to optimize decision-making by using the best available evidence.
My reading have led me to think that EBM and more generally science may have evolved into something different from what they were originally intended to be, with a waste of research efforts resulting from suboptimal research questions and study designs.
Intrigued but, can't read the article unless I cough up $40. That is another tragedy of modern science....we used to have access to each other's science - easily...upon which to build. Feels like slogging through mud to investigate unless you're an academic w unlimited library access. π€·
