It's quite clear that if they don't renew after this performance they never were going to go past season 3, at least not on prime. TWoT may be too big to contain to one service in a world where "no one get a season 4" unless you risk spinoff fatigue like The Boys, but TWoT could "pull a Lucifer."

I think it’s more of a placeholder than it is fake, they’re not posting to pretend it is official. The Sony account though I don’t know.

Like the Sony one, they at one point had a similar “fan account” blurb. They went from the placeholder to fan account, back to placeholder. Some of original posts (now deleted) they pretended to be Prime. Loads of us gave out and they stopped us from commenting.
