Why on earth would you fly _civilians_ from _military bases_ on _civilian aircraft_ (_civilian_ CNI assets) in and around the exchange of missiles/drones/artillery shells?
Military airbases, especially those next to military HQ, are legitimate military targets because, by default, they are not civilian objects being used for non-military purposes.
In Mumbai 2008, Pak's proxies killed 2 Aussies. This time, they deliberately placed more Aussies and other civilians directly in harm's way like Hamas using civilians as human shields.
