I live off Riverview Terrace, which had a river view until they built a bajillion houses in front of it.
(Although I guess McMansion-view doesn’t have the same pizzazz.)

To my knowledge, there has never been a river near Riverview. It's kinda close to Tempe Town Lake but that's also not a river lol
