Should we even be calling it a parade?
It's a threat. It's a narcissistic show of force.
It's an ego trip. It's a public humiliation ritual in which we are all expected to compliment the emperor's new clothes, and smile and clap for that stupid monster.

But every time I see "parade" I want to punch a wall, there has got to be a better way.
