Been hearing rumours of this discovery for some time. At any other time in history, this would dominate the news cycle. These days, it probably won't even make the monologues of late night talk shows.

It’s far from confirmed. There are serious doubts that this planet even conforms to the “hydrogen ocean” model proposed, in fact it seems incredibly unlikely; and without that, there’s little chance life could actually be the source of these gases.
I detected that too, and I tried to investigate but they didn't move 120 light years away and change their phone number to be warped to if my apology for Earth's rude behavior is as bad as it was when this whole thing started.
Interesting but also alarming. Seems we may need to get to work protecting alien life from human contact, dominated as it is by sickly, greedy, violent conservative, right wing sentiment. I mean, those fascists hate foreigners, human "migrants," native born but different "races." Alien life forms?
Provisional science cannot claim authority over reality, at best it can only provide fuzzy hints. Science is a game of "let’s pretend," played with symbols and sensors. Its power lies in utility, not truth. To mistake physics/maths for reality is to worship the finger pointing at the moon.
You have an interesting way of describing non-duality. Much like Advaita Vedanta, where Brahmin represents truth or the ultimate reality and everything else is an illusion.
If there is life there capable of receiving radio signals from earth they'd be up to 1905 ... At least they won't know anything about the shit fest that's going in 2025 for another 120 years.
