I’ve never understood why we’re supposed to be afraid of Russia. Ukraine is a speck of dust compared to them, and in 3 years, they haven’t been able to take them over. Aren’t they supposed to be a military superpower? I think we’ve been lied to so we have someone to blame for everything.

Ukraine has had a very strong army even before invasion. Now, it's heavily supported by the West. It isn't that weak. Russia has manpower, resources, know-how and Korean, Iranian and Chinese allies to sustain its status as a superpower. Also, asymmetric warfare and maskirovka. It's a real threat.

Iran and especially NK are supplying vast amounts of arms to Russia. It was Iran that gave Russia shaheeds. NK is giving millions of artillery shells, guns and missiles. China provides many components that end up on the battlefield but worse is its giving it economic lifeline.
