I swear by the Sony WF-1000XM5. I’ve gone thru a bunch of different ones, and keep coming back to my Sony’s each time. Checks all your boxes and under 3 bills. (But you know better than most how that goes, sound is like art - we all experience it differently)

AirPod pros are appealing to my less sophisticated ears, but the device switching can be annoying. AirPod max have been recommended if you’ve got 500 to drop on headphones.
