Dr Mir? I know he's always needing to be in the medical centre after all the crashes the last couple of years but didn't realise he'd spent that long there.

Good to see he's put the time to good use though.

This seems unusual. The arm pump surgery recovery is normally very quick, I don't remember riders missing the next race because of it. I wonder if there were some complications.

It can depend on the type of operation, a fasciotomy (cut the fascia or muscle sheaths) or fasciectomy (remove the sheaths). The latter more problematic.

But 2 weeks is borderline for a return. And as Chantra has nothing to gain by riding, might as well let him sit it out.
