David, I have one question about the rules, when Pecco crashed on lap 1 on wet tires, he came in pit lane and went out on slicks. Is it a rule that you have to change tires every time you come in pitlane or could Pecco have gone out on wets again?
OK, I checked, and if the white flag has been waved/wet race declared, you can change bikes without consequences for the tyres. Can change wet-wet, slick-slick, wet-slick or vice versa
Hi David, another question on the subject : does coming in the pit to change the bike "remove" the need to do any as-of-yet undone long lap for starting the warm-up lap from the pit ?
I was under the impression that some riders only did one long lap, but that was maybe the info lagging on the feed ?
And Zarco is now the highest placed non-Ducati rider in the standings. Whereas poor Joan Mir is 2 point ahead of Taka and 4 ahead of Salvadori. Strange times
So so happy for Johann, it’s the dream of every French rider or driver in any motorsport that has a race there to win at Le Mans. It’s such a difficult and illustrious track.

I hope Zarco remembered how to backflip off the tyre wall.
