America has never been a leader in the support of the arts or artists in my lifetime and shows no signs of change.. it's willingness to overlook ai labor replacement / theft of IP of artists is telling.
It reaches farther than commercial work, it's cultural.

Creators should be paid well and have the rights to their creations but... Young justice TV show was not PADs version (also didn't make a lot of money) spider man 2099 was in Sony work not Disney. Aquaman movie was a bit closer but still had elements from other creators.

Yeah, the YJ roster wasn’t identical to his, but you can’t say a show named “Young Justice” that had Superboy & Robin wasn’t at least partially inspired by the comic of literally the same name. And ok, Sony released Spider-Verse, not Disney. Whatever. My point is HE’S OWED MONEY. Why be pedantic?
