I generally agree, but I would define the rule of law to be (1) no one is above the law and (2) the government must comply with the law

The foundation of Democracy is government by the people, for the people.

Republicans have created government by the rich, for the rich.

Citizens United case chartered a course for American Democracy to be transformed into government totally controlled by the rich at the peril of the working class.
