Ākenehi Hei (c.1878–1910) was a pioneer Māori district nurse & midwife in NZ Aotearoa.
She nursed many Māori people during a typhoid epidemic, traveling around the North Island in 1909 and 1910.
She died young, on duty, caught by the disease.
