I don't think it's how to build, it's how to prevent the corruption and waste that seem to follow any government contract. Or, maybe a bit of both.

Now if we could just flatten some hills I could bike :)

My favourite benefit is the predictability of how long it will take to get somewhere. Once you nail down a route it will take the same amount of minutes to get there every time, you don’t have to leave early in case there’s a collision somewhere, or sit on a bus that’s stuck in traffic.
