Imagine if this was 1939. Intellectuals fleeing the rise of Hitler and Nazis escaped and landed at universities in the U.S. One of those intellectuals was Albert Einstein. Einstein was one to men to alert Roosevelt to Germany’s race to build the 💣. This led to Oppenheimer and the Manhattan Project.
