Key fob died for my Honda CRV. Changed battery - no difference. Manual key won’t open door either. Called AAA. Got me in, but car dies after starting up. This am, fob still not working but car starts & runs. But I can’t lock my car. So I just buy a new fob & key, get it cut & reprogrammed, right? - ThreadSky

I’m wondering if it has anything to do with the car’s immobilizer? I found a YT vid to reset it once I was in this morning and did that - not sure if that was the issue..?
