David Hyde Pierce is phenomenal in it! Just a joy to watch.
There's rare times when he gets to do some of the physical comedy and it's the best physical comedy in any sitcom I've seen!
Niles is just sensational. The delivery of "there's something I have to tell you something. Dad wanted to but I won the coin toss" has lived in my brain for 30 years
I think it's one that aged weirdly well. The talk radio bit has a feel of social media, tech like mobile phones is actively written in not avoided, and there's a kind of modern social alienation in there other sitcoms dodged. Also Eddy, that dog will always be cute.
It also never really punched down - every character had an opportunity to take the piss out of another - which I think helps with the aging process here.
