Am in right - NUFC cannot finished any lower than 6th and therefore has a Europa spot? If you assume Man City win both games and get 3rd, Villa win and get 69 points and even if we lose Sunday if Forest win they get 5th, if Chelsea win they get 4th (Villa 5th) us 6th, they draw we get 6th too? #NUFC - ThreadSky

Not quite but close. For example if we lose to Everton 4-0 and Chelsea lose 1-0, they would overtake us on goal diff. It’s very unlikely but not impossible to finish 7th.

Mine too. I just can’t work out how we could finish any lower than 6th worse case scenario where Man City get extra 6 pts and Villa 3pts and even if we lose because of better GD to both Chelsea and Forest whatever their score we couldn’t finish lower than 6th

If Forest win in that scenario they get 5th, us 6th, Chelsea 7th. If Chelsea win Forest stay 7th us go to 6th and if a draw Chelsea get 5th and us 6th one place above Forest on GD.

I am doing all this because my NUFc PTSD is kicking in big style and convinced we can not win on Sunday and am looking at scenarios when getting no extra points we still get an upgrade on the Conference (you can tell I really don’t want us playing the UEFA Conference League can’t you?)
