When you say applications, do you mean desktop apps or web apps? If it’s the latter, I believe RN will play a big role here. Universal apps are definitely the future, and PWAs suck. React Native is the best bet (in my opinion).

I do agree that RN is the best so far. I convinced IT and the business of that for mobility about 5 years ago, for our warehouse suite.. but for the tabular data, I’m leaning toward just React with Next

Yes web apps, just heavily used by desktop users because of the amount of data shown and complexity. We normally break out our apps into mobility for smaller task driven apps, generally associated with a warehouse job and then the larger “backbone” data type applications with a lot of tabular data

Oh man, I was trying to create this kind of layout years ago in React Native (basically copying iOS Safari’s expanding/contracting URL bar). I did end up using Reanimated at the time, and it was mind-bendingly hard to set up. Glad to hear Reanimated v4 has made things easier.
