FWIW: this neighborhood would be great candidate for automated stop sign enforcement. Use the money for traffic calming on the high injury network (none of which is in this neighborhood, which is p. safe from an infra standpoint.) It'd be a lot better than children begging drivers not to hit them. π¬

In St. Louis, seventh grader Evander Page walks or bikes to school. But he canβt count on drivers to slow down or stop for him. He and other pupils collected 1,300 signatures from drivers pledging to stop at stop signs.
