Gordon was so great... one of the main people that got me interested in PCs/hardware in general. Not an understatement to say he was a formative person that never met me.

I was bummed I couldn't make it. Had to be in Sacramento yesterday. Thank you for sharing some highlights. I was deeply sad to hear of Gordon's passing. He was such an influential character in my professional life.

That would have been lovely if you had. A lot of people I didn't expect to be there showed up! (Caitlin was there, although I forgot she was at Wirecutter like a dumbass.)

It honestly was really nice just to have everyone there.
